AMEN, rackie!  I so agree with you!

The Momma:  Yes, he will get the mail.  225 and 226 are brother divisions so they are right there together anyway (train together).  They always make every effort to get the mail to the SRs.  Even the RDCs know the importance of mail to them and don't usually use withholding it as "punishment."

mosita:  Your daughter will be a "stick," what they call the flag holders.  And wonderful for you because like she said, they are right in the front where you can see her.

Karleen:  OUCH!  Well, his must have been completely in.  I can't imagine removing impacted wisdom teeth with no anesthesia.

Sonie:  I thought the same thing when my son would write.  His handwriting had been awful!  I guess they are told they if they don't PRINT and do it NEATLY, they will not have their letters mailed.  I think I needed an RDC living with us when my son was growing up...

Diannep: I was searching for the right verse to share for our group. For me, the friendship we all built here is somewhat of a lifeline. I remember  a few days ago, feeling down, lonely and sad. Needing prayers or just someone to talk to that understand. Our group lift me up.. we are all building a multiple-braided cord of life long friendship.

Ecclesiastes 4:9–12

Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken. (NLT)
