Dana, thanks so much for putting those together for us. It makes me so proud for all those young men and women and it's exciting to relive the experience. What a fine group we have!

Hi Helen, we also met Alan's roommate, Wade, through his webcam. I'm going to put mine on my laptop so my son can be in the garage as they restore his car. Isn't it great! I'll pray for peace for your FIL. Alan had hoped to class up today, but it didn't happen. More waiting, cleaning, mustering, cleaning. At least we get to talk to him everyday.

Wow, great news! Congratulations Valerie and happy birthday to Matthew. Helen, it sounds as though FIL is in good spirits, good for him and what an angel you are!

There is a group called snipe moms if anyone is interested. I joined them since CJ is a "snipe"! He was telling me all about the history of snipes last week.

Alan has a webcam on his new laptop and I was able to connect to him and could see him and his roommates. I'm going tomorrow to buy one for my computer so he can see us too. You all have to get one, it's so cool. His roommate showed him how to connect.

Helen, you and your family are in my prayers through this difficult time. It's good that your FIL is ready, he 'll pass peacefully.

Kathryne, you're pictures are great! I'm so glad you were able to visit your son, he looks terrific and happy. I love the whites the best.

Alan told me about the new uniforms. He said he is going to wait until he absolutely has to to buy them, since they just spent all that money on theirs. They look like Marines. Alan is with a buddy named Ward from Div 296. Ward's Mom - are you on here? Helen, I'm so glad Matt is loving it. Don't worry about Iraq it too far away for Matt yet. Alan seems happy, although he is somewhat bored waiting for class to start. He is doing some kind of computer classes from 6:30 to 3:00. He calls every day, it's so great. He text messages a lot also.
