Shawn loves it too...and his Chief thinks highly of him and Shawn thinks highly of the chief, so that makes life a bit nicer in the Navy. so YOU...how long has Hubby been in the Army. You must lead an interesting life or at least thats the impression that I get from military families..duty stations..meeting all kinds of people! So where are you originally from?♥

they get their orders while in A school...towards the end...my son got his about 2-3 weeks before he was done..But some from what I have read..get them on the day they finish A school...so tell him to be prepared.
How does your sailor know where he will be stationed?
Oh and as for Shawn....He *absoultely LOVES* his job...he says
mom it is the *coolest* job he loves his shipmates and has already made some *real* life long buddies...
EN don't only work on the engines, there are alot of areas of the ship that they maintain, which keeps the job interesting.
I still can't believe I met someone that has a sailor that is an EN.
I have been on this website since late Feb..08 and you are the first one...how cool....let me know if there are any questions that your sailor wants answered...Shawn loves giving info.

I think they are just very focused on finishing boot camp now. I'm doing okay but getting antsy to see him. It hard to stay focused for some reason! That's a great idea to have friends write encouraging words to them, you are very thoughtful. A lot of my friends here at the office wrote notes in cards I sent to him. I think just knowing we are behind them in this is helping them. I saw a comment on another groups' link that the kids were told no more phone calls until after Battlestations. That makes sense! We want them to do well. When will you get to see Josh when he is in CT?
