Good morning Queenie - I was wondering the same thing about sunglasses and packed them anyway. Yes, I am packed, ready to go, can't wait to get out of here and closer to my boy.

My son, Alan, is div 297, ship 07 and has BS on the 13th. They share a ship with another div, so maybe that's yours Kathryne.

Oh no, too bad about Betty's son, I'm sure she's disappointed. Kathy, where are the div t-shirts sold the day before? We'll be there Wednesday (the same day Alan does battlestations) so we can check it out.
Glad to hear about the weather forecast, it's difficult to find a lightweight raincoat in CA in the summer. If it's raining here, it's winter.

Hooray Div 292! Aren't they all doing just great? You scored on the phone call. We're getting everything ready to leave, can't wait!

Hi everyone. I just found this site on Friday - it is wonderful. I wish that I had found it sooner (like on 6/18 when my son left for basic) I have spent the last day trying to catch up - I feel like I know many of you already. I have learned so much from this site in just 2 days. Everyone is so caring and supportive! We are hoping to make it to the event at Flanagan's also. My son is in DIV 290, SHIP 11. We are flying in on 8/14. Hope to see you all soon!
