Robin - I read on one of these blogs that they "bulk up" and their civilian clothes don't fit. Poor girl, no pants. Actually, one letter came addressed to my husband and a day later one came addressed to me. My husband didn't even open mine. I told him I would have ripped his open in a heartbeat! He gets home first so he got to read his first. Counting the days!

We got another letter today (2 this week), but no grad packet. I've already made my reservations and bought a new camera. I can't wait to go! 4 more Saturdays. I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone, I even changed my flight to be sure I wouldn't be late. Alan says he is really, really tired and hungry. His RDC yelled at him for eating too many cookies. (He takes after his mama). I sure hope you all get your phone calls this weekend, the waiting is unbearable.

Helen,
My son is hoping to reclass to MA next week, his recruiter told him if he couldn't reclass in BC he would be able to a year and a half into his service. I have no idea how accurate this info is, but he too is really hoping it goes through.

Oh CJ didn't mention the dress blues, only the whites. He said they were wearing the basic utility uniforms, dark blue pants and lighter blue shirts....The scholastic flag was all he mentioned. He said they were doing a lot of PT, ironing, and folding clothes!! He seems like he really likes it. Hope everyone else gets phone calls today.

Robin, CJ said yesterday they would most likely start the firearms training next week.. there were still really in "week 3". He said also they were standing watch (like info noted by Karen and Vickie). He said he aced the swim test, but he has always been a very good swimmer. He said they were all working very hard!

Helen,
I just booked my flight, we don't get into Midway until 4:00. I hope we make Flannigan's in time! Pray for no flight delays!

Alan said they carry guns when they have guard duty. They aren't loaded. Is Matt a seabee? Alan hated the swimming test also, said he drank a lot of water and passed out. Ugh.
