Thanks for the tip Ashley! That will definitely come in handy.
I hope 283 did well too. We leave Wednesday, although I found out my dad might not come. Apparently he injured his knee playing softball:(
283's date is either Monday night or Tuesday night. I've heard both, although I suspect Tuesday, because my husband probably doesn't know what he's talking about:p

My son called this afternoon from recruit heaven. They get to hang out there until 2000 tonight. After calling me he is making calls to other family members. 282 came in second at captian's cup yesterday. He said they did good considering 30 recruits have been asmoed.

Are 283 and 284 going through BStations on Tues night? That is my guess. No one is going tonight, right? Trying to figure out what may be going on with the 8/27 group since they are the same size PIR group as this one.

It's been very quite on here today, did anyone receive a call today? Does anyone know what div won captins cup? Hubby and I have been real busy today, Cleaning house, Oil change in car, cleaning car, finishing up our ribbons. 2 morrow is shopping day with mom, Monday is shopping day with daughter, Tuesday is packing day for Wed morning we leave for ILL. Hope it all works out the way I've planned it and I keep my sanity. lol. Hows everyone else's day been.
Susan~ That's so thoughtful of your son to think of you. I'm hoping for a letter on Monday :)

Since you all have a small PIR, I don't think there will be a problem with "extras" getting into PIR as long as they enter the base with you, and they have proper ID. Also, remember 12 and under don't count towards the 4 guests anyway.

Congrats to the new sailors!

Yes Amber that was his I'm a sailor call. We got about 20 minutes to talk but I had to cut it at 20 minutes (agains my will of course) because I had to get back to work.
