Ha, cool idea with the blue lightbulb, love it. I know he's been wraping his ankle, I did tell him to take Motrin for the pain/swelling, when he's allowed to get it. I never told him about the Ice though (didn't think they would let him do that). Not sure on the amout of secounds he has to shave off :( He just told me in one of his last letters that he has a couple more sec to take off. But a couple to me and a couple to me could be very different. He runs 2 morrow, so i'll be praying for lots of strengh.

I know about the blue candle tradition but I do have a question about it. Are we supposed to do it every night of battle stations for all divisions in out PIR or is the tradition to just burn it for the night of OUR specific divisions battle stations?

I am not sure if you all know about the candles for BS-21. If so then great if not, you light a blue candle at the start of battle stations and keep it burning for luck until it is complete. I use a blue light bulb as I have small children and animals in my home and it is just safer for me.

not sure she got a minute call tonight. I am sure she will call on Monday. Unfortunatly she is still injured. She will get it though I have faith and hope for her. I do have to rebook my hotel. We are in Ohio and it is about 7 hours from GL. I am not sure what div. she was not able to tell me.

Can someone tell me if they know Battle station dates yet though? she said she could go as soon as she passes the run.
@Amber-tell your boy to soak in cold water or ice before the run if possible, and to take some pain reliever. it helps keep the swelling down. Kayla has to get wrapped before runs I think she was saying. She had stopped going to medical as they kept putting her in LLD.
It has been a log depressing road for her she has had bad news dropped on her and has gotten through that so now it is just this stinking run... she had 18 secs to shave and that went flat today.

Tobianne~Welcome to PIR 8/20/10. Im glad to hear your SR is doing better. My SR also hurt his ankle and is now having a hard time with his run too. His last PFA is in 2 days, Im praying he makes his time. When will you know for sure about her PIR and Div? Will you get a phone call telling you she past her run?

Hi Tobianne: Welcome to 8/20 PIR. Are you having to rebook your airfaire and everything? I hope to see you out there!
Comment by Tobianne on August 11, 2010 at 10:20pm
Hi ladies, I am sure my daughter is going to be PIR(ing) with your recruits. God willing. She was set to Grad on Friday and was having an issue with her run. She injured her ankle on a run about 5 weeks ago now and this has been a struggle since.

So I hope this is the right place and she is pretty sure she is in with this PIR group.

FYI FYI FYI -.... AirTran is having a 2 day sale. For example, to fly from Baltimore (for me) to Milwaukee is only 49$ one way. If you havent' booked your tickets go check it out. :D

Oh and HI everyone. 8 days to go for you all! yay!
