So excited! I got a brand new tomtom at a yard sale the other day. They guy was closing down his e-bay business and wanted to get rid of EVERYTHING! It had never even been used. In fact, he *threw* and extra one in just because...
Best part, I only paid $40 and walked out with TWO brand new tomtoms! Wow! That was awesome :) I have already programed in some key locations (Navy Pier, Six Flags, yummie resturants, RTC, the airport...) so excited!

Is the Cubs game on the Saturday after graduation ? Is it for families too ? My son mentioned it to his wife that he wanted to go to a Cubs with some guys in his division since part of his A school was going to be in Great Lakes but not sure if he was talking about that Saturday or not.

wow, Susan, what a GREAT letter... :)

Btw, Navy Federal is a great bank. I've been a member for um... since I was 2 years old. *LOL* My grandma has been a member for about 60 years.

I was wondering then they'd work on the Marlinspike exercise thingy. Nice. :)

Sorry I've been a little distracted.... playing with the new camera. :)

Yeah, Mike said he passed all his inspections and PT tests too. And he also mentioned the Marlinspike-"We were tying knots to keep a fake ship in a fake port". He mentioned there's still infighting but they aren't getting as much IT. And apparently he is on hold for 1 extra day after the 23rd. He reports to his ATT school at Great Lakes on the 24th, he wants me to stay an extra day so I can give him his cell phone, food, etc. He also wants pizza *eye roll*

Just got a phone call from my son, the recovering SR! Woo hoo! This is the first call where we've spoken (a message doesn't count) since his discharge from the hospital. He sounds great and he said he may be graduating as soon as the 13th! Oh, my. I'm not mentally prepared for it to be that soon. OK, that sounds funny, since his PIR was supposed to be 7/23, but I was counting the recovery time plus catch-up time (generously) and came up with the 20th. He's not sure yet, but will let us know asap.

(Sorry, but I may not meet you ladies at the 8/20 PIR. We'll see.)

Sounds like he's getting plenty of rest. He'll need it . . .

JDs Angel _ you could also look at it like "we only have 2 more Fridays", I like the sound of that!
