Amber: on the fence mostly with everything because of money. The hotel is fine now.. I kinda worked it out by talking about it with another coworker here. The airlines are being a pain in my backside though. Airtran is up (*sniff*) and I'm just frustrated. I hate not having money. :( oh well. Don't mind me....

JDs-sorry to hear about your electric. Storms came through last night with a Tornado hitting 15 homes, we had it through but I'm praying for those with the damage especially since were all still trying to recover from the flood waters that hit us about 3 months ago. What are you still on the fence about, Hotel? Why?

Well, let me tell you.... it's been horrible these last few days. The storm knocked out power and cable everywhere over here. My power was out on Sunday at 3/4pm ish and came back on about 7/8pm ish. I don't have internet at home so it wasn't a big deal. However, my grandma (where I check my email and N4M and other stuff) didn't have power from about 6pm on Sunday until 5:30 this morning!!! I decided to come down early before I had to be at work so I could play catch up. She lost half the things in her freezer but it's ok.

My SR hasn't been getting my letters consistently either, though I hope by now he should. He has been sent 8 envelopes (each with about 3 days of letters in it), but only has received 3. Kinda sad especially since there is a lot of stuff in there. I'm going to keep writing him letters up through graduation, but I'm going to hand them to him when I get there so that when he goes back to the base after liberty he has something to read. :)

I got a letter from him on Saturday and one on Monday. The one on Saturday really was him complaining about boot camp... I don't blame him. :) He's still irritated that the guys are fighting after taps and not getting their crap in order. I guess they're trying, but they still have a ways to go.

Teri: I think you can take binoculars. Since there are only 5 divisions I wonder if you'll need them though.

I booked the Ramada and my SR's aunt and uncle booked at the Motel 6. They're only staying one night, but my SR's brother and I will be staying until Monday, so I figure while it's a bit more expensive, it would be more comfortable for both of us. *shrug* I'm still on the fence.

I hope everyone is doing great. It's the end of July this week so that's a bonus. Just think how great it's going to sound when someone asks "when is his graduation" and you can say "THIS MONTH!!!" woo!!!

does anyone know whether you can bring binoculars to PIR or if they will be necessary?

SusanA- Don't feel bad about what your son says about his division, Our loved ones in our division are giving us the same "rating".

I do a little dance of victory every time a see a new PIR date posted on there! Crazy how there are only THREE above us now. It is getting SO close, I am SOOO excited!!!
