I have not heard about Grad & Go yet but I am hoping to find out this week in the letters. To the best of my knowledge they all found out last Thrusday. I got a letter today, yay! It was short and sweet :) He did tell me that he is finally getting all my letters so thank God for that! I was starting to get so sad and heartbroken when he was writing saying that he wasn't getting them. I mail something every day so I am hoping he is getting something every day from here on!
That makes me think... I wonder if I should NOT send letters during that last week knowing that things take about 7-10 days to get to them. Does anyone know if they will forward boot camp mail to A school if they leave before all thier mail arrives or do they just through it away after the SR graduates if it keeps coming? His A School is in Great Lakes if that makes a difference. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Less than a month ladies, that light is getting brighter at the end of this long tunnel.

Keep writing those motivational, encouraging letters to them. They need to be reminded to mentor those "slackers" that cause all that "IT" they hate. They need to motivate those who have lost hope. Why? Because they are a division and MUST work together to pass BS-21 in a few weeks. It's graded individually, but if a division works well together, small items that someone might forget is overshadowed by the teamwork of another who picks up the slack.

SusanA-Congrats on your son's run, thats a great time!
faerirqueene-Is he over the "crud " now, or did he say, I hope so. Life is YUCK when your sick or injured.

He's not the first to wind up in Medical. My hubby said in an earlier letter that he had "the ricky crud" and wound up getting medicine there. He was just happy that it was free.

As long as I don't recieve a phone call (that is if I'm the only one that does), then I'll be good, PIR is ust getting soo close and I know he doesn't want to spend one more minute there then he has too. Maybe the letter on Wed or Thurs will be better :). Congrats on your letter too!

I got letters too. He says he passed the inspection, although it sucked, because the RDCs kept telling them to recite general orders, and they couldn't move. I'm so sorry about your son, Amber. I hope he turns out okay.

I got Letters!!!!!!! yay!!!! He sounds okay but right now I have that feeling you get in the pit of your tummy, he went to medical (haveing problems with his r ankle), this was friday, Im hoping he stays strong and "pushes" through the pain. I know he can do it, it's just a matter of will he. I'm so concerned for him right now, so untill I get another letter saying he's better, I'm going to be biting my nails wondering if the phone is going to ring with bad news :(

JessicaB - Do you know if there is any what to post the Battle Stations video below on Facebook?
Comment by diannep on July 26, 2010 at 2:22pm
Teri: The recruits have to tell you all when BStations is. We have no access to a schedule. Then maybe your site creator can post it at the top here (she has to do it unless she names someone as administrator of the group and then that person can do it). The call will come the afternoon of the day BStations finishes for that div. It usually runs from 8 pm - 8 am (CST). But they then have their capping ceremony (trade Recruit caps for Navy caps) and they have their chores, etc to do. Calls start coming in aroud 2:30-3 pm EST and go into the night. They get an hour! So it is a great call.
