My son has his T-giving flight, but still no definate 'yes.' Yes says when ever he asks they say, basicaly, "don't bother me." I'm just having faith that it will all work out. He is really homesick. I'm sick for him to come home! In case it didn't mention it, my son is not longer in pre-buds. He is on hold in GL to start SWCC training.

So the big question Bradlee's mom: what is your daughter-in-law-to be like? Are her parents nice?

Kim, I'm thinking catered 8/21 PIR Alumni party next summer...at your house...LOL We'll pay your son well!

Wow Kim! That is awesome! You must be proud of both your boys.
I had a fun time trick or treating with my little Ninja and little cat! Some of the house had lots of spooky decorations and I had to walk right up to the door with them! very cute.
My sailor is having a hard time with his stress fractures, and doesn't know if he will be home for Thanksgiving. Have a beautiful Sunday everyone!

Bravo Zulu Bradlee's mom!! I know you are so proud of you son, and so are we!! Prayers for the other divers for tomorrow.

I'm glad he got some news desertdweller, even if it isn't what he was really hoping for.

Abagail, I'm so glad that your hubby is getting support with studying. Along with all you do, that will make a big different I'm sure!

desertdweller, I commented on our other site too, but that really stinks! Hopefully they will change their mind again...

I was just thinking about your son kperry, and wondering how his stress fractures were doing. He will be in my prayers (and you too!) It's the weekend!!

Hi everyone!
My sailor is doing ok, he has something called torticollis, which sounds like it is a super stiff neck type of thing. I think it makes all the physical workouts he is doing that much more difficult/painful :-( All your prayers are helping with his stress fractures, so maybe you all could squeeze in a prayer for his neck! :-) Thank you!!!!
I got a text from him earlier that just said "luv u mom" and it made my day. We are getting along so much better than we did when he was in high school!.
I got really stressed this week, because I had a lot of homework from my college classes, meetings with my kids' teachers, sick kids, the car in the shop, etc I know it is not any more than any of you deal with, I just wish sometimes I had family nearby for some moral support when things get hectic.
Have a nice weekend everyone! Thanks for listening, and thanks for your prayers.

Abagail, it sounds like you are doing everything you can. I agree with Bradlee's mom, you also need to take care of YOU. It will all come together. I'm sure your guy really appreciates all you do to help him. Desertdweller, WOW, all I can say is you are in my prayers today. That sounds like fun Bradlee's mom. I'm sure that sailor enjoyed the family. Hi Tonya, that set up sounds wonderful, I'll have to look into it too! Good to hear from everyone. Hope your week is going well / better!! Keep in touch please, I'm always lurking around the groups somewhere.
