She has called twice... the first time she was crying being homesick... then called again on the 4th and was happy and giddy... a complete turn around. I was alot more relieved when we hung up. I didnt get to talk much because i was at work and I dont want them getting too upset with me. She seemed to understand. Have you gotten any calls?
Cody has called the last two Sundays...praying it continues tomorrow!  First one he had trouble getting through and by third time was crying so hard I almost didn't know it was him.  Very emotional that first one!  Second was a little better, I try not to cry until he hangs up..have not had ANY mail yet...hope he is getting his.

Hi Ladies!  It's fun to read about others whose daughters are in the band.  Pretty cool that they can put their skills to use in our country's honor!!  PIR should be amazing... hearing them all play together.  I think my daughter is bound for Pensacola following BC.

Hi NM....nice to meet you.....getting a little worried here....so far son is only guy...as far as I can see from all you ladies with girls!   And he is 6'6...going to REALLY stand out .  lol

Kira is 19, just finished her 1st year of college. She had straight A's and was doing great. She's going to Pensacola too. I have a feeling that I am going to be visiting Florida a lot this fall :)  I am still waiting for a letter from her. I was hoping to get one today because some of the other mothers said they got one this week.
You ust be extremely proud of her..I don't even know her and I am!  Florida will be very nice for small vacations huh? lol   Stil waiting for my first letter too.....poor mailman!
I think this is going to be great experiences for all our kids!  We also have a 16 year old girl who is pretty sure she will join her brother in the Navy.  Hopefully I will be more emotionally ready by then!   Hope we ALL get letters by beginning of next week!
I have a Grandson that wants to be a Marine, his Step-dad is one, another Grandson who wants to be a Sailor like Aunt Kirstyn, and another Grandson due in November that I am guessing will want to be a soldier in the Army since that is what his Daddy is!
Wow!  You pretty much have all the branches covered!  lol....Very honorable career choices if you ask me!
I think i was told it would be the 2 graduations before theirs that they perform in
Thanks for the info Bev...
Hi Lili, very nice to meet you!  Cody will be going to A school right there in Great Lakes.  Would love to stay in touch...have you had phone calls and letters yet?
