For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Yes I wish we did have the approximate of WHEN but we do not so we just need to have your CELL PHONE Glue to your hips ladies. I am looking forward to meeting your all as well. YES I am very much looking forward to meeting all the other familys who were like me and my family. Yes that is so true I wish i would have gotten a call yesturday but NO. I do not understand why some other SR get 1HOUR to call when we only got 15min. WHAT UP WITH THAT hehehe. oh well GOD KNOWS that all I can say. Can you believe it we only have 10 days to PIR I started work on thurday and I am going to miss this page. BAD. well ck in later have to take my daugther to dr. appt. also will ck the mail boxs on the way home. HOPE I HAVE A LETTER FROM MY SR TODAY. :) how i miss her.

Still no call home :( It seems like sooo long since we got to talk to our SRs! I think it's been 19 days since we heard their voices. Jana, be sure to let us know all the good stuff Anthony had to say in that extra big letter! :)
I sent a letter to Alex on Friday asking him to please keep me as up to date as he can on how things are going, since we don't have much time left. I still have not received any mail on another day besides the normal mail day. It seems odd that they can write on two extra days but yet it seems 279 is still only mailing on Monday after they get their standard Sunday writing.
I got mail in that letter where 2 letters but she was saying that she is feeling okay and asked for prayer because of BS but thats about it. I hope i get a another letter this coming week.
