Kira's mom, I think I like your friends at work!!  LOL

My son said a few weeks back that I get his first hug - as if anyone could stop me!  <3

My daughter's boyfriend just graduated from BC, so she can't call him, or hug him first...so that leaves ME!!! I will be tripping and pushing people down, if anyone tries to get to her first.

My son is going to Pensacola for his A School and he has said that he knows a few in his division that is going there with him!!  I wish he could come closer to the west coast instead of even further away but now that he belongs to the Navy, I guess I don't get any say in where he goes!!

Sharon - I love the comment about leaving her in Chicago - that's priceless!!  I guess I'm just lucky enough that my son's girlfriend is not going so I don't have to worry about running her over to get to him first!!!

My daghter already told me that her boyfriend gets the first hug, but she said my hug will be longer. My friends at work told me that I should trip him so I can get to her first, LOL.

What time do the "I'm a sailor" calls usually start going out? We're hoping to get the call today if our SR passed his run yesterday and I was just wondering what time I need to start staring at the phone willing it to ring.

I recently discovered three that were going to San Antonio.  I hope to get connected a little better when I have a bit more time.  I'm just getting ready to begin my work day and have a daughter that has cheer practice/games all week!  Doesn't leave much time for much else!  I will be private messaging ya'll so maybe we can get our Sailors together on Friday.  A picture of them together would be really neat!  Oh, my mother is coming out in me again!!  LOL...she is the sutterbug in the family!  Anyhow...five minutes till work starts!  Better get my coffee!

Jana lives in Tx, and our sons are in the same division. She offered very early on to invite my son along when she visits  :)  I asked my son if he would like that and he said "oh yeah!"

It amazes me daily, how wonderful everyone on this site is. I will never be able to say enough thank-you's!!

Well if It counts I will be near him... :) Well at least closer...5 hours away.

I had hoped for Virginia because my son would have been near my husband's best friend (our kids have always called him Uncle) or Florida because my brother-in-law and his family lives there ... wanted him to be near someone, but that is not the case.  Texas is a very long way away from Michigan!
