Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Comment by diannep on August 21, 2011 at 1:01pm: Just sent out a "group" message. Conflicting BattleStations dates for 818/819. Please message group or me if you have heard dates for these divisions. Still waiting to hear dates for other divisions from you all. Have one for 281/282, but it is a bit unusual so need confirmation. I can only get that from you all so message me or the group if you hear. No posting dates here on the board please!

Comment by Doreen(07/272) on August 21, 2011 at 12:37pm: Mine chose corpsman. Always interested in medicine. He could tell you the rhythm on a telemetry strip when he wad 2 years old. Always carried n ace wrap in his school bag...someone would twist an ankle, and he jump to it. So proud.
