rhonda, that sounds wonderful!  We never know what we'll miss until we don't have it.

My daughter is a competitive shooter. She holds a state and national title. She is also an incredible musician... Plays piano, violin and bass guitar. I sit in her room sometimes, close my eyes, and listen to the music in my mind... Never thought i'd miss all that "noise" coming from her bedroom. One of the things she wrote in a letter is how much she misses her music. I've found a piano store up there that is going to let us bring her in after graduation and play one of their pianos... She'll be so excited. I can't wait!!!

I forgot to post a question yesterday. I was at a festival all day and should have done it before I left.  So today is a two-part question:

What does your SR like to do for fun, and do you share those same interests?

My son's favorite thing to do is go bass fishing. My husband is a professional bass fisherman, and our kids learned at a very young age. Alex loves to fish in tournaments (and is pretty good) just like his dad  :)  He also loves to hunt and watch movies.  As a family, we all enjoy those things (except I stink at fishing, I guess I just don't have the right DNA for it.)

Ladies...for the Sailors that aren't able to have anyone come out to PIR...ask your Sailor if they are buds with them and offer your hospitality if you like and take them with you for the day. Many do this!

Wouldn't that be something!  People coming up to hug him & knowing that I sent them because I didn't want him to feel alone!  That makes me feel good!

Oh you guys!  Would you all look for my SR!  I don't think anyone is coming from his family.  He & I decided to wait and have me & my kids fly out for a big vacation.  I have ask a couple wonderful ladies whos hubbies are in his div to take a picture of him for me and give him my love.  I wish I could be there...have wanted to, but he is right...is expensive & we can spend more time together when we see eachother at the end of training.  If anyone is willing to look for him private message me and I can give you info so you can find him.  :)
