I also have a Dell. I have never had a problem with it :) I will soon have to change though, because Cory swears by his Apple products! lol

Stacey-If you should get a call today, tell your SR to tell my SR that I love him and miss him and will see him soon...unfortunately I have to work today from 1-8 p.m. and won't be able to answer my cell phone if it rings

I have also found that Dell has the best customer support.  They will usually help you even if your warranty has expired where other companies wouldn't even talk to me.

Caylex, he meant leave for the airport at 1am.

I agree on the Dell, that's all I'll buy ;)

Sandi, my hubby is a computer whiz!  We bought our son a Dell laptop (because all of our other Dell's have lasted WAY longer than the other brands we have owned). He got his last June (2010) for his high school grad gift. My hubby always says get as much memory as you can afford, and the fastest processor.

Sparkling, do you think he meant leaving for the airport at 1:00 a.m. or actually flying out that early? I've read lots of posts that say they sometimes get to the airport that early but don't fly out until a few hours later.

I sure had a bad evening/night last night. I really need a phone call (like we all do).  Have not heard his voice in 19 days!

Jana that is so cool that you got a bunch of letters! Lol And that poem was really funny! :)
I am hoping to get a letter today; I haven't gotten one since... last tuesday or wednesday. A phone call wouldn't hurt either ;) lol
Only 11 more days ladies! I can not  WAIT to be with my fiancee again!!

Thank you Dianne.

Jana, I am so glad you got to the post office!! There's no feeling like the one you get when you see that envelope!

Well I was at the post office at 8 a.m. this morning to get the postage due letter my SR had sent me.  That goofy kid--he had stuffed one of the questionnaires (3 pages long), and 3 sheets of paper on which he had written or drawn something on it in one of the small envelopes.  Why he used that when I have sent him several long envelopes I don't know.  Got a kick out of what he wrote on one page.  I'm sure he got this from someone else:

Good morning to you, Good evening to me

We're getting IT'D as far as the eye can see

You will never know the things I miss

Like the times the mornings are bliss

He said he aced his personal, weapons turnover, PFA and zone inspection and got perfect on them.  He said he had live firing tomorrow (Aug 5), that he practiced that day, but didn't do too good (not surprising, as he has never fired a gun before in his life!).  When he wrote the letter, he said they started hell week and called it the threshold of boot camp and said if they got through this week it's time to put it on cruise control--just had to get through firefighting.  It was good to hear from him.

He also sent a page on which he had written in block letters:

CAN'T WAIT

TIL AUG. 26

That also happens to be his 19th birthday!!
