For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

I CALLED THE CORRECT NUMBER TO THE PHOTO SERVICE HE EXPLAINED TO ME THAT THEY ONLY TAKE THE RECRUITS PICTURES AND UNTIL THEY GRADUATE YOU CAN NOT VIEW OR BUY ANY BEFORE THEN, SOME HAVE THEM MAILED HOME OTHERS WILL HAVE THE PROOFS, RIGHT AFTER GRADUATION YOU CAN GO TO THE PHOTO PLACE AND PURCHASE PICTURES ON THAT DAY, I THAN ASKED HIM ABOUT THE FACEBOOK PHOTO SITE HE SAID THAT IT IS NOT WITH THEM IT IS A DIFFERENT GROUP THAT POSTS THE RANDOM PICTURES AND SO I ASKED HIM HOW DO WE GET AHOLD OF THEM TO ASK IF THEY HAVE POSTED CERTAIN DIVSION HE SAID GO BACK ON FACEBOOK AND ASK THERE --SO I DID BUT THAT SITE DOESN'T HAVE A MESSAGE TAB TO SEND A MESSAGE ?? I haven't found any. There was one a while back that we thought might be division 270 but just got a letter from Andrea a few minutes ago and she says it was not them. I printed it out for her and sent it with a letter :-) So DARN it, no pictures of our SRs, at least not that I have seen.
She also said in her letter that last Wednesday they were learning firefighting and last Thursday was the gas chamber. She didn't sound too excited about that part, said it was going to hurt but whatever she has to do to get through boot camp, she will endure. !!
