A little about me:
Our Son Brendan will graduate in August and we are so proud of him and his choice to serve his country in the U.S. Navy.

As the son of a sailor myself Jimmy Buffet's song keeps ringing in my ears.

He's in Ship 07 Division 270. If your son or daughter is also there send us an email and say hi. We would love to touch base with other parents.

I'm Brendan's father. I know it's for Moms but I'm bending the rule because his mom works so many hours she don't have time to go online much.

Anyway, I was not in the navy. I served in the Army back in 85/86 but I am the son of a sailor and grew up in Navy housing.

Have you heard anymore from Brendan? Mike said times were 1.5 miles in 12:30, and he thought Brendan was over 15. I told Mike to get behind him, and chase him. :)

Mike is also going to Pensacola, it would be nice if they stayed together for a while. Familiar faces make life so much easier. From what I read, sounds like some will leave on Saturday morning, but only the kids can inform us for sure. if you are on facebook, take a look at the page U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command, they have really good photos and lots of great info.
