Congratulations, Wendy! And, isn't it hard to believe it's been one year since our sailors left!!

I though about that yesterday - one year since Jake left. It's been a good year. My son has become a fine young man and I am proud. Hope all is well with you and your Sailors!

One year has gone by since Sam has joined the Navy, she has five more active years to go. I will be traveling to Pensacola at the end of the month to watch her graduate. I have been told the ceremony isn't as grand as boot camp however this is giving me an excuse to go and see her. She won't find out until next week where she will be going. Sounds like our sailors are doing well. Best wishes to all, congratulations Wendy on the grandbaby.

Wendyloo, Congratulations! Being a grandma is so much more fun than being a Mom! - totally cool! My Sailor is doing OK. Hope yours is as well.

Happy Mother's Day to all of the wonderful Navy Mom's. It's been a tough day without my sailor. She surprised me on Friday and had flowers sent to me at work. I'll be seeing her in Pensacola in June.

Tyler is en route to the desert for a few months. It's been great to have him so close to home for the last 3 months. Can't wait for him to get back. Glad to hear everyone's sailors seems to be doing good.

Hi everyone, My son finished A-school in Pensacola in December. Then he finished C-school in San Diego late January. Now he's at his first duty station in Norfolk, VA and is on the USS Wasp. We are moving his wife to Norfolk tomorrow and will help them move ino their house near the base over the weekend. I'm looking so forward to getting to see my son and to tour his ship!

Hi everyone! I usually look at this page but don't have much news to comment. Well, Doug is still at Great Lakes, almost finished with A school and looking forward to a different city with different weather. I hope everybody and their sailors are well!

It has been a long time again since I have been here. Sam finally started A School on March 8. She surprised us last weekend by showing up for my Dad's 80th birthday party. She doesn't have internet access in her room so we are not able to Skype as much as we used to. I'll be flying to FL in June to see her graduate and spend some time with her. Much love to all our Sailors and the families that keep them going.
