I got my letter this week end and what a welcome sight that was in the mail box. I think it actually took me a minute or two to pick it up. lol  I think I was in shock I was already getting information from my son. I spent the rest of the night on line trying to get the best deal on flights and writing letters to my son. I'm looking forward to chatting with all the wonderful ladies on this site. I think it will make this adjustment that much easier for me.

Still no letter, no form letter, nothing...................getting very anxious!!!
hello marmayes, i know what you mean...anxious!!! have you or anyone else noticed (and maybe this was in a general discussion i missed) that BC is 7 weeks? i thought it was 'set in stone' that BC is 8 weeks. i hope you hear from your son very soon.
Yes, Shelby and I were just discussing that last night. I thought week one was just P days and didn't count toward the 8 week BC. Oh well - one week sooner is good for me!!!
exactly what i thought (Pdays etc) and good for you....a real positive attitude (one week sooner)! are you making plans for PIR? hope to see you there....still trying to work it out from this end and trying to stay in a positive state of mind that i can get it all arranged.
hello everyone. need a good chuckle to relieve some of the stress and anxiety? then follow this... under Forums go to Boot Camp Forum and then to "Top Ten Lines Home from Boot Camp". some of these posting go back a couple of years and i have laughed myself silly. great stress relief !!! ps the ice cream truck posting will melt your heart.

Me either but I am crossing my fingers and saying lots of prayers that we all start getting them soon. I figure today should be the day I get a letter. Thankfully for the mailperson who delivers our mail, I will be at work when he/she comes by here. lol There will be a mugging at my mailbox this afternoon if anyones in my way. lol Good luck all!!!
proud.mom - good luck with your letter. I am now traveling out of town for work, so i am certain mine will come when i am gone....................
you did get your form letter though, right? I haven't even gotten that. Right now i would settle for a smiley face or a frowny face - LOL :)

Wishing ALL of us letters either today or tomorrow.............
No letter here either. boo hoo. I'm with you on the smiley or frowny face. lol I have seen some of the other women say they haven't gotten their form letter either. Sounds like some just take longer to get out than other. I'll keep my fingers crossed you get your soon. :)
Good morning - you all are my "life line" right now to feel connected to my boy - thank you for that!!! I will be somewhere where my phone works on Sunday and praying for that call!!! (my cell actually doesn't work in my house, go figure!!!)

Hope you all have a great day and pray the mailman gives you a gift today!!!
