Welcom Navy Loved ones! This site is so helpful for support and finding information and sharing information. Being a Navy Mom and Wife is such an honor. It isn't always easy to wait to hear from them, or to know that they have been, or will be in harms way, but we couldn't be more proud of our boys. The youngest boy said recently, "it feel pretty awsome to be part of something so big, and respected"... He is still in boot camp... My oldest has served three years and is a wonderful young man, who now believes serving their country is something all young men should do. We are so proud of all of our NAVY sons, husbands, daughters and wifes, boyfriends and girlfriends... Please share, ask questions, and enjoy the support provided by Navy for Moms.

Hello All, I just wanted to check in with you and let you know I am glad that you all are finding this group useful. We don't have any idea when my son is going to PIR He was set back due to an appendix rupture so if one of you who knows for sure that you would be in Great Lakes on 9/24 would like to contact the Ramada to set up the meet and greet, or perhaps start another group for RSVP's for those of you that would like to get together the night before graduation that would be super!! My son isn't even in a division again yet he is still in "ship 06" Div 2341... which translates to MEDICAL HOLD... I hope you all have a wonderful time in Great Lakes, I PRAY I will be there too... but it really isn't probable.. Keep your phones close to you though.. you will be getting calls soon!! and keep writing to them....
God Bless

Autumn,,,,,,,wouldnt worry too much about him changing from Seal to Search and Rescue. Im sure it was all his decision and he has good reasons. When you write to him, ask him for more details on his decision.
