Welcom Navy Loved ones! This site is so helpful for support and finding information and sharing information. Being a Navy Mom and Wife is such an honor. It isn't always easy to wait to hear from them, or to know that they have been, or will be in harms way, but we couldn't be more proud of our boys. The youngest boy said recently, "it feel pretty awsome to be part of something so big, and respected"... He is still in boot camp... My oldest has served three years and is a wonderful young man, who now believes serving their country is something all young men should do. We are so proud of all of our NAVY sons, husbands, daughters and wifes, boyfriends and girlfriends... Please share, ask questions, and enjoy the support provided by Navy for Moms.

Hi Stephanie! What division is he in? A lot of moms update their User ID while their kids are in boot camp to reflect their division # and PIR date, you can change it anytime in the "settings" area in upper right corner of your screen.

This is how my User ID looked when my son was in bc:

Morning All !! Hope everyone slept well !!
Looky there...a wonderful countdown clock !! I know our PIR group gets excited everyday, seeing its one more day closer to graduation !! Ktbug, you did a great job !!
Ktbug....I would post the link to this group everyday for awhile on both Boot Camp Moms group as well as July Deppers group. A lot dont know how to find you :)
Woke up to some rumbling thunder, I sure hope it cools things off here in TN. Yesterday, with the heat index it was 124 !!
If anyone has any questions or concerns, please ask and I or Sobe or Jessica will answer you. Sobe and Jessica have been angels to our group in answering what must seem like such repetitive questions but always there when we need them.
Have a wonderful day all. Hugs

Sobe, I was just wondering if there is anyone graduating 9/24... now I thought mine might be out of RCU and be in this PIR group... but I am begining to wonder...hmmmmm is it a holiday and no Boot Camp exists that week..
Maureen... I keep writing to my son Never, Never, Never, Never give up. That is one of his and mine favorite quotes and reminders... I almost gave up on the clock... but :) we got it.. thanks for helping!!!

My guess is families are getting their letters this week, and will begin searching for information on their PIR... If there is a PIR on this date, which I am sure there is, we will start seeing moms and others on here soon.

Hope everyone has a good day!

okay, so we have all of us "old" moms on here, but do we have any new moms with loved ones who are graduating on the 24th? LOL.... Invasion of the seasoned moms!!! And I was the second one to join, so I'm teasing myself of course!

Thanks ktbugstep. Now it is our job to make sure all the new moms make it at least partially sane to PIR. Yes, go navy!

I am glad you veteran moms are on here!! I am a veteran mom too as far as my oldest son goes he had his PIR in 2007. I didn't know about N4M then, it would have been so helpful!! My youngest son is in boot camp now. We are a Navy family. I am so proud of both of my boys!! And their Dad, and Granddaddy and their uncle.... Go Navy.
Maureen I will get a countdown clock on here, just as soon as I figure that out. I still haven't figured this whole site out yet.
Jaz you must have been so proud!! I know with my oldest I was so very very proud. I am sure I will be with my youngest too when his time comes around! Congratulations!!
