Katie...WOW!  So sorry that you've been dealing with health issues.  I know that can take a lot of time, energy and emotion to get through sometimes.  I will keep you in my prayers.

YES!  When you find out when you'll be here - please let me know.  I LOVE to make road trips and would love to come down and see you if it works in your schedule - we can do just lunch or more of the day.  Maybe I can even drag Lori down with me again....WHATCHA THINK, LORI?!?!  And wouldn't it be cool if it was at the same time Jordan was here?!?!  That would be so much fun!

Please do keep us updated!!

BE BLESSED!

Marilyn

Marilyn, I haven't been on here in a while (dealing with some scary health issues) but I saw you had posted and checked in. Really glad to hear Jordan is doing well and he's safe. Jake is on the USS Carter Hall and was just on a 45 day tour but was in port for a few days and I talked to him yesterday. He too is settleing into ship life and loving his job. He's still homesick and wants to come back tot he states but he's adjusting. His ship will be comming back to Little Creek, VA sometime in May so we hope to head East to see him for a few days. Will depend on me and our finances at that time.

Hope all others are doing well and as always our sailors are in my thoughts and prayers every single day. Keep in touch.....I'll try to do better

Katie

I too am amazed at the time that has gone by and it's almost a year when we said good bye to our boy who is now a man. We did good Moms......

Jordan is in Okinawa and supporting a very busy Chaplin!  He seems to be working 6 days a week - which hasn't left him with much time to see the sights! He seems to be settled in and we're finally able to SKYPE with him about once a week.  He is PLANNING on coming home mid- May for a couple weeks to visit us.  We're hoping it all works out!!  He has a three year tour there, and then we'll see what GOD has planned for him next.

We are good. Our oldest and his wife just had their second baby...WOW!  And I've just been busy with all the life stuff that happens!  Can't believe we're only a few weeks away from the ONE YEAR MARK of when our Sailors went into Boot Camp!  CRAZY!

Looking forward to hearing how everyone else is doing out there...... :)

Lori- A transport plane, I think.

It dosen't go on a ship. We all wanted him to cross the equator it's sort of a tradition in our famly.  Washington is only 2,500 miles away. lol. You know I'm spoiled since he was only 8 hours away. The up side is, flights only take 5 hours. I am trying to be positive. Chirs can find great things out of anything and he loves adventure. He's Ok with the orders.  Hugs form Memphis!

Happy Boxing Day- for any with an English background!

Terri-what is P-3? What did Chris think of his orders?

Jackie- I can only imagine how hard it was for you yesterday. This year all my kids came with their kids for Christmas. Next year who knows? My daughter and SIL and new baby drove 6 hours for just a day and a half which I really appreciated cause Paul hadn't seen them or the new baby and we don't know when we might all be together again.

Blessings to you all and your sons. Happy New Year to you all.

Merry Christmas to everyone, I hope everyone gets to talk to you kids today. I just got off the phone with my son and it was hard the tears just come, I cant wait untile he comes back from the sandbox next year. I better get used to having him home for the holidays because he will be deployed next holidays as well.
