Oh Candy- that's just wonderful! I'm thrilled you got his call. Here I was thinking it would only be on a weekend. So it really can happen any time.
Jamel- that is great- finally! And 7 letters at once! I'm hoping Marilyn has the same report soon.

I'm thinking if I got a letter last thur then MAYBE this thurs...
Rachel- you have had no letters at all? There are quite a few who haven't- Jamel, Marilyn, to name the ones right off the top of my head-praying that you all will get several at one time- it would seem like Christmas then!

Hi Rachel-I wish I could tell you some wonderful thing my kid said to allow you to share in the BC experience, but as they say in poker, I got nothin'. Surely, something will come this week, right?

There is a camp ground listed in the advertising brochure. Try www.mwrgl.com. I don't know if you have to already be active or retired military to use it, but I'm sure the site will tell you.

Good Luck, and keep us posted about letters and phone calls.

We will be staying at the Navy Lodge for graduation May 27. Which airport is best?

How much for shuttle, does anyone know?

For those of us, hoping for calls....I have read that some calls have come during the weekdays however, in one of Chris' letters, he said he was hoping to be able to call this weekend soooooo, I was thinking since we have not heard yet, Sunday afternoon is still a possibility. My fingers are crossed for me and you all!!
Comment by NASmom on April 25, 2010 at 2:40pm
Do they call on Sundays or weekdays? My son is on ship7 division 198. He made very short 2 minute calls twice to us this week. No long calls though.
