This is our 'Navy' family now!
Jennifer- how are you doing?
Jamel- that's great that today is a better day- have you started a 'count down' calendar yet? I know it seems like a long way off to PIR but just keep writing and the weeks will start flying by- we are almost in May now!

I just want to say that all of you are so wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is like one of the hardest things ever. Before he left I actually told him I could not do it but I realized if he can do such an amazing thing for us that I could handle it. You have all helped so much. Thank God for all of you....

Jamel - you can also join our group - Ship 07/Div 197. It would give you a chance to connect with a few others who are in your girl friends "ship" and give you more who you can talk to her about! We want you to feel as connected and supported as we can. And it might help her mom to know that there are others who have kids going through the same things as her daughter.

All the best and blessings!

Jamel- if you write to me on the "friend page" and give me more of the specific info you need, I will be happy to help you. I don't expect today to be as rough as the last few, and I should have more time to help you and your GF's mom!

ColoAustinsMom - you are just the SWEETEST! Thank you for giving me any credit for anything - but really it's a GOD thing! :) I have joy and I try to keep it in all circumstances. Such as when my son's RDC doesn't pick up their mail and I don't get any letters from my boy! (thank you, Jamel..at least I know why I didn't get one. It helped me to have that bit of info.!) I just Gotta believe that even if the Mamma doesn't know what's going on and what he needs prayer for - GOD sure does, and He's got my great son covered! (Austin and the rest of the recruits too - of course!) I just keep praying, and praying for all of them....and hoping that I am being used here as I am supposed to be here - just like I pray Jordan is being used there RTC as needed.

Have a BEAUTIFUL, BLESSED, AMAZING, WONDERFUL, SPECTACULAR day!!
