Marci... D said that Battle Stations for 851 is week 6.
I like the scarf idea. Just let me know what color. I have to drive about an hour to shop so plz give me plenty of notice. That's the down side to living in the country, but whats an hr to shop? I'm use to it.

it is funny when someone says that because theres no way you could do this job for the $. This may sound corny but I truely believe there is a "calling" of some sorts to do the job. So enjoy! March will be here before you know it.

It sounds like we have a lot of nurses in this group huh? It is a great profession. The students here in the northeast are having a hard time finding a job after graduation though, when will you be done? THANKS Erin for the info! Its so nice to here he likes it. Fish would they ever let him wait the 2 weeks in VA?

My son said grad-n-go but said he would have till Sunday. Fish, Im a little jealous that your son gets two weeks, my son is in the same program as yours IS and he has to go right out. Your son is going to Virginia right? Its so weird how the military does things. On my sons return address is Sailor Drive I hope this correct. He did say he got some of my letters.

I got a few letters today too. Fish our sons are in the same division and my son and makes it sound as though things were coming together. I hope thats the case anyway. My son told me he is a grad-n-go. He also told me he will be picked up for "c" school after "a" school.

Hello Ladies, I am just dropping in to bring up an important subject. This is the perfect time for all of you to consider with your sailors, how you will handle sad news. Whether it is the death of a pet, illness in the family or the death of a family member or friend, you need to discuss with your sailor how you will handle this in the future. I know that this is something no one wants to think about, but in the age of facebook, twitter and cell phones, this should be a settled subject. They need to decide who will be in charge of handling notifying them what has happened and when to tell them. Then please tell everyone else that under no circumstances should they spread the news. My sons have both been in the Navy for 3 years. If you have any questions, I'll stick around for a day or two.

We had thought about a camera however I have been told that they will be able to get these things so much cheaper pretty soon so maybe money would be good. Gosh do you think we spoil our babys alittle?! Ithink they are worth it though!

We were thinking of an IPhone for our son. He needs a new phone and a laptop so this kinda does both and won't take up as much room plus he can check email from anywhere. It takes great pictures that he can easily post to FB or email and holds alot of tunes. Especially if you get the 16gb. I really like the idea of the sailors bible too. Maybe one for Grad and one for Christmas. Plus he gets to see us.. That's gift enough! heehee

Yesterday I got a call from the Red Cross. They wanted D and since this was the 2nd time they have called I asked what they wanted. He has good Platelet Blood and wanted him to donate. I figured if he can serve our country the least I can do is help save a life. Found out I have a really high Platelet count. Made me feel really good to beable to help and got my mind off of other things for a couple hrs.
