I called the hotel twice and today the manager told me that my housekeeper was their most trusted one....I kind of felt like he was callng me a liar..... but he said they would keep my name and number in case it turns up..? I can't imagine anyone else wanting it - it's not like it was an expensive leather one....it was just my comfy fleece one that my kids hated but I loved... Oh well - it was my fault for not checking...shame on me. But I know it's shame on someone there too!
In the grand scheme of things, it's a small thing, so I'll just move on....

Dreams that is terrible about your jacket. Hate to accuse but if you left it there, then it should be there right? Seems like an honest person would have turned it in. They should find out who cleaned your room after you left and do some investigating. If it was your favorite, then you should be a little pushy.

I dont feel so lazy now! I am a procrastinator, and I havent unpacked yet either.. Glad I am not the only one.

I finally got a call from my son last night. He thought he was leaving for SD yesterday, but he is on hold for a week - so he'll have to wait a few more days before he can see the sunny west coast. It was great to hear his voice again, and I look forward to more frequent communications now... :)
None of my pictures turned out during graduation - they are all so dark that you can't make out anything but blurs.... So anyone who would be willing to share, that would be great....I need to check with my son to see if he ordered the DVD, otherwise I think I will.

I'm a little bummed out tho - I left my favorite jacket at the hotel, and when I called they said housekeeping didn't find it and that I should look around some more. I called back today because I dreamed about it all night and I KNOW I left it in the closet there. They looked again, and said it's not there....It wasn't expensive, but it was my favorite.... :(

Lol talking about the sailors not being able to stand still. The guys had a bet on how many sailors would fall out and be taken off by the body snatchers. We counted 7. At least we know those 7 were standing still. Dereck was telling me about the way they somewhat "rock" on their feet, moving their weight between their toes and the sides of their feet to keep the circulation going.

Navyblumom, thanks for the compliment on my son. He has the same smile that has run in our family for generations. Almost everyone in the family has it. I too would love to see the video.

cudawn, my son showed me his "pay stub" and he didnt get state taxes taken out. Since he used his dads address, and Texas doesnt have state taxes, they didnt deduct them I assume. He still needs to do his taxes. Lucky for him, he shouldnt have to pay in since he claimed 0!

I uploaded a ton of my photos to my facebook... crystaldj1972@yahoo.com

Yay, just got a call from my husband- he is all checked into A school at GL. I am going to send his phone and other items tomorrow so he doesn't have to wait in line anymore for the phone bank. I loved hearing his voice! :)
