I am just so upset. I don't mean to sound like a crazy person. But I was looking at driving over 700 miles in the middle of all this snow and crap ALONE. Now I have to factor in that he might not even have graduated and I might not even get to see him. PLUS the DA's up there screwed up my DEERS info and even though Rick listed me as his dependent and all of my info is in their little DEERS data base because I don't have a DD1172-2 FORM they wouldn't give me my military ID. The recruiters office is closed and I don't have any cell #'s. Heck I never needed them before not really- I can usually handle whatever it is by myself... but not this time. I even called and made my own appointment to meet with the PDS ID office for Friday afternoon so that we could get all this paperwork straight. And the only reason it was messed up is because they lost all of our marriage records @ MEPS. So I had to send it all in to them again.
I need a drink.
So much for resting before my 13-14 hour drive tomorrow...

One more thing THE BODY SNATCHERS

Oh and by the way just a heads up, while our new sailors are in line you'll see personnel going up and down the lines, it looks like they're looking for someone to rip a new one in...RELAX they're there to protect the sailors. It gets stuffy in those close packed lines, legs get locked and eventually someone faints, those people are there to catch them and take care of them... DON'T panic, Don't move from your seat, let them do their job.. our sailors will be fine but remember it when and if they decide to get to the Alter and get Married they might need a snatcher then too :)*

Good luck and have a great PIR! Its a ride you'll never forget.

Alright just so everybody knows my father-in-law and his wife are awesome. We are leaving here in the morning one way or another. Rick's dad is a trucker says he's driven that route 1000 times. One way or the other... I'm going to find out something. Then between me and my dad on the phone tomorrow on the way maybe we can get some straight damn answers. This is insanity and I am not happy.

Well considering there was a fire last night what we are trying to do is form it as a well check. That's my husband up there- I'm his next of kin. I am allowed to check on his well fair if there are reasons to believe he may have been hurt.

Dad said to call the Fleet Command Duty Officer. I have been trying to find a number or any that I could even get transferred from... no luck. Dad says this is the only people we can call when the PAO is closed.

Amber, remember we thought 915 was going to be tomorrow night, so apparently they did a little change up and also, since there was an actualy fire at battlestations, they may have had to change it up a little bit and make it with less people at a time and all.... chin up...
