I have been so busy also.. packing me, a baby and a 6 yr old... I hope we are warm enough :/ I pray for everyone's travels to IL ( or in my case WI then IL). I don't know if I will be able to make it to the meet and greet, we'll see how the weather is, etc. But, I will have my ribbon and will be looking out for yours! :) Let me just say that with the help of God, this group has gotten me through the roughest 2 months of my life. Without you supportive angels, I would have gone insane! :) I can't wait to meet you all! Yay for all of our men and women! God Bless!

Amber, I hear you on wishing dads could be there. I don't know how long ago my dad went through GL but he help redo it in the late 80's. I wish he was here to go over there and see what he helped build. I finally get to see where he spent years away from home!

I also hear ya on the leaving yourself in the hands of the US Navy. Thankfully you can talk to your mom about it! I just hope we all get what we wish for in this journey together with our spouses, children, and the US government. You know as well as I do that there will be ups and downs, but in the end I hope and hope a lot more that in the end it will be worth it. My wife is scared as hell and I am scared for her. She has no idea what is waiting for her on the other side of Friday. I just hope that in the end, she gets something meaningful and worthwhile out of all of this.

Monica well I'm not completely alone I have my dog LOL and I go see my mom all the time and its almost just as far. So, I'll be ok. Mostly worried about the weather. It seems like all winter the weather and I have been fighting and that hussy keeps kickin' my butt!@(*&^%^&* Not this time though! I'm not having it you hear me LOL NOT HAVING IT LOL Flying trucks and walking home in the snow after ditching my car... I tell ya I've been tested and I have overcame. This to will pass!!
We just have hours now... that's how I am looking at it.
My entire future is now in the hands of the US Navy. In 2 weeks I no longer have a job or an apartment and I don't even know where I'm going... but I'll follow him to the end of the Earth if thats what this life requires and what he needs me to do. I love him too much to have it any other way.
But I do have my fingers crossed for you.
