Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

ah maybe my question should have been;
Who has Verizon and who likes it? If you dislike it let me know also. I need to change and so far this is supposed to be the best one with the best coverage.

Amber, you mentioned Verizon. Do you use that as your cell carrier? If so, do you like it? I am thinking about switching to them.

Found it - the restaurant is called Full Moon Family Restaurant - open 24 hours an d is located 1300 skokie highway, lake bluff, IL 60044. does not look fancy but looks like good food at good prices

Thanks ladies-- my twins are going to go into hiding now.. lol Well I am leaving out the door. Will check back in tonight at my next stop. Dont have too much fun laughing with the helium, bud brownies and boobies! Those of you leaving out soon- be careful and watch out for the idiots!

Hey - a zillion pages ago or so I think someone posted a link for a nice 24 hour restaurant. It has an extensive menu of homey type food and stated it was "sailor friendly" Anybody remember that and/or the name of it? I lost the link somehow, just scrolled through 50+pages of postings (jeez we are mouthy) and did not find it!! Help!!
