For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Dreams~ not a real horse LOL but he eats like one! Lab/Dane mix! There's just not a truck big enough for me to take him to Chicago! But my lil girl is going... she's old and she rides very well.

Amber, it has been a constant scene around here with the jokes and the laughs. Whats even funnier is when it popped, my boyfriend who is in a wheelchair was with me and can only go so fast. Here I was trying to push him faster and also cover my flat with my purse and get the heck outta there. There is no way to push a wheelchair with one hand and go straight.. it was definitely a scene and both of us were just laughing so hard we could almost do nothing.
I am sure there were other people laughing at us too.
What a wonderful boss you have to ease your mind and let you go get your phone!

Hey girlies ( and gentleman!!) I am here...thanks for asking navyblueeyes! Just trying to get my stuff done around here. Local BFF is picking me up shortly - gonna go have some starbucks and decompress a little bit. My sailor does not have BS21 until tomorrow night BUT my blue candle burns today for all your sailors who have it tonight!!! WIll check in with you all later - safe travels to those who are traveling and have a wonderful day.
