Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Dereck wrote me a letter two weeks ago and said they told everyone then that they were grad and go then. He said he is not grad and go. They also went over the rules for liberty weekend with them then. If she was grad and go, she would already know

Hey everybody,
sitting here reading posts on *PIR* 19 Feb 2010, you guys gotta read what they are saying about PIR after and before over there. Lots of info!!

Oh and the PAO told me there was no Grad N Gos, not the case!!!

A husband getting more mad as the days go. I want to know what is going to happen to my wife!! I thought they wanted me to be supportive!!

gnite cudawn, have sweet dreams hun. I dont think any of us have been sleeping well. I usually sleep thru everything, but here lately i am waking up every two hours. are we anxious, nervous or what? stressed? ummm yep sure are. Good luck with that. sweet dreams and sleep with the angels

heck if we could donate, I would have had some of my butt removed and moved up top. The dr asked how big i wanted them, i said i dont know, i just want them in proportion with my butt. I woke up from surgery and my first thought upon looking down was- "OH MY GOD I DIDNT KNOW MY BUTT WAS THAT BIG!

colleen I keep telling myself that I need an iphone so I can keep posted on whats going on here, I have to come back and check in every few minutes. Dont want to miss a thing. The phone I have lets me read the posts, I can even type a message but it doesnt have a submit buttom so I cant respond from my phone. I HATE SPRINT!

Here is one for you - my twins were reduced a few years back.......too bad you can't donate excess boobage -haha :)
