You would think by now the divisions would have it figured out and be doing what they are supposed to be doing. My son said in his letter on Friday that they are still getting in trouble...I don't get it! Have they not learned by now, especially when they see other divisions earning phone calls. At this point I am done checking the mailbox and done looking forward to a phone call. Although I carry my phone with me wherever I go just in case, but I am not counting on anything anymore. Sent my last letter on SAt.
Now it is time to figure out what I am going to wear and when I need to leave if there is going to be snow.

Gman my son says the same thing. I think if I finally got a call it would be totally plastered all over this site. I would hurt myself doing jumping jacks and cartwheels and probably end up with another flat! I just want a letter for sure

no phone call here. I was hoping and praying but knew I wouldn't get one, she always says her div is too loud and not doing what they're told so they never get extra calls! I just hope I don't get one tomorrow!

lol If we must talk about those skinny days- I still have my size 3 jeans that I just know one of these days I will fit into again. My boys laugh when I pull them out. "Fat chance" they say! "Thanks alot guys!" " Keyword "fat" mom!" I wont complain though, cause it is still funny when we are in town and one of my sons says "mom, that dude is staring at you". Its ok to know I am getting old, just dont want to be over ripe!

I am trying to figure out how I can make sure that I am available for a call on Wed morning. I don't get reception in the building I work in on Wed so I will need to figure out a plan or move my room so that I am close to a window. Heck i might as well not even go to work that day because I will be so preoccupied that I wouldn't be able to concentrate!

Whew, just got back from Atlanta and had so many pages to read. I tried to keep up in the hotel but it was hard to read on a little ipod. Now I am back and connected. The weekend flew by, which I knew it would since we were busy with the wedding ... now bring on the week!
Got a letter last Friday that was dated 2/13 and he said "we get to call sometime next week" well that week came and went and I never got a call so apparently only certain ones did, maybe someone got in trouble and ruined it for the rest of them.

Hi Ladies ( & Gman) - checking in and catching up on your posts. I must say, we are a special crew, I think. I can identify with each of you, suffice it to say I think we each have had to overcome some pretty tough challenges in our lives....but all of that has brought us to the moment that we are today. And I, for one, would not change that for anything. I also think that because of the challenges we have faced in our lives, it has contributed in our sons/daughters to become they brave sailors that they are about to become.

On a lighter note!!!! -
Who is going to Reno?????? Is it Colleen??? I live about 2 hours form Reno - we shoudl make plans to meet for dinner/lunch/something!! while you are in Reno!!
Menapausal Muffins - LOL!!!! Love it......the big M hasn't been so bad except for the pastry roll that I now am sporting!!! I was very skinny back when - BUT I never ate!!!
What to wear to PIR - still going dressy - black slacks, sweater set, boots....- it is what I would wear to church or a nice restaurant.
We will have a small contingency at PIR as well but that is how it is with my family - small but very very close. My boys, hubby and I have a very special bond - we like each other alot as well as love each other. OK - enuf of that
I CAN"T WAIT TO GO TO GL AND MEET YOU GUYS!!!!!!
Let's go pack!!
