Ok, my wife just told me about this yesterday and this is important information for your sailors if they have pre service loans and other financial obligations.

There is a Federal Relief Act called the Service Members Civil Relief Act and it is for helping with debt. Good idea to take a look at it and remind them if they have debt with interest rates higher than 6% to get it modified down to 6%.

Here are some links to the information.

INDOC is the first set of classes they go through @ A school. It's the finance, sex/drugs classes that the guys (and gals) have been attending since their arrival @ A school. It doesn't necesarilly stand for anything as in an acronym. The next step will be ATT or AWAT and those classes pertain more to job specific training. Then we wait to class up to actual Apprentice school hence the common "A" school.
I don't know about your boys but Rick willbe in old hold for 4-6 months before he classes up and he only has to take AWAT which is only approximately another 2 weeks of classes. That leaves him with alot of time on his hands for the next 6 months! Luckily Gman has been on the job again and it turns out because we are married he can actually what they call "brown bag" and live with me off base!
Surely abstenance is the best way but in the case they do.... 70% is better than nothing!

WE better not have to worry about STD's or the Navy will have a corpse instead of a sailor LOL
