I am going for the more formal look - black slacks, boots, sweater set and of course I will wear my winter coat (down filled but still kind of dressy). Before living in CA, I lived in Boston so I kind know what to expect weather wise. Regarding formal vs casual - if in doubt, I always lean towards the dressy side - just my thing. In fact, it is something I taught all my boys (sons & hubby) and I actually heard my oldest repeat the saying to this girlfriend!!

Bittersweet~ I have decided on jeans. I like you had thought about my normal dress slacks but like you said that wind goes right through those. One of my brothers works on cell towers out in the conditions. (he would kill me if he knew I told you this!) He said panty hose are the way to go!!! So I am wearing hose under my jeans!!!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!
Got my gate passes - had to have my husband print them out at work - for some reason my computers (yes I have two) could not get into the site. I am soooo ready to go ! Got a letter from my son yesterday, dated Feb 9 but it was pretty much a repeat of what was talked about on our V-day phone call. Had a bit of an anxiety attack yesterday in the card store - don't know why, quess it is all just bottled up inside. I just want to go to GL NOW. Figured out what I am going to wear (major accomplioshment), making my ribbons today. Are we still on for late Meet n Greet??

debbie(ship7 Div106) - we are staying at the Quality Inn

Yea!! for Div 915....glad they finally got their flags.

I was out shopping yesterday and through a conversation with someone met a young lady whose boyfriend is also in Div 915.....what a small world. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name or her boysfriend's name. Guess I need to stop back in her shop and ask.....it was a used book store and I need a couple books for the trip anyway.
