That ribbon looks great keljacmom ! ! Gives us all a visual to go by - thanks!!! I didn't think of making one for my daughter, but I think I will . Have you heard if any of our guys in 805 have been able to call lately?

That ribbon looks awesome, keljacmom! Thanks for sharing that, now I have a good idea of what to do. I will make enough for all my guests as well. Did you include your screen name on everyone else's or just yours?

Yeah, I hear ya Amber. I vowed never to sleep with dogs, well I have two little furry critter sleeping with me all the time now and they get crazy when it is bed time.

besides the hotel, now that I know they are allowing them, I am not sure if I want to bring one over and then she is Grad and Go and leaves right after PIR. Does anybody know when we find out about that? When they call after Battlestations will they know?

Courtney (Ship 07 Div 106), I am going to call the PAO tomorrow and see what they say. I really hate to be a pain in the rear but I am the type of person that wants things done right the first time so there is no ambiguity about what needs to be done and question if has been done or not.

Amber, I hear ya' on being too close to get it in the mail. I kept writing my wife saying no DEERS and no pay. She finally figured out what the deal was with the pay but has said nada on the DEERS in her letters.

keljacmom Ship 4 Div 805, good idea. I will def. look into this while I am there. I live 2 hours from the closest military installation and don't want to have to drive around the countryside trying to get paperwork done.

While we've had Samson about 2 1/2 - 3 ....

Dreams~ I know my furry kids are my snuggle buddies while he has been gone. Samson is part horse LOL so he takes up just the right amount of room on Rick's side of the bed ;-) Every letter he asks "how are my kids?" It's funny when we met he was a cat person... (I really dislike cats) Now he is priviledge to the unconditional love that can only come from doggies.
I've had my SuzieQ for 11 years but somehow she wound up a daddy's girl! Shile we've had Sason about 2 1/2-3 years and somehow he wound up momma's boy. They are my saving grace.

Amber -
We're staying at Residence Inn too! Would have loved to have brought our dog - but it just wouldn't have worked out. My son misses her the most, I think !!! Something about dog love - good for the soul! Thank goodness I've had her to hug while he's gone... :)
