What an impressive sight when they opened the door and you could see each division waiting to march in. Every sailor that we encountered out and about or while we were waiting for Matt's division each morning was so polite. I was so impressed and proud of each and everyone of them knowing what they had been through to get to this point.

Yeah as you know DIV 265 all passed! It was great to hear his voice even if he was hoarse. On my way to Illinois. See everyone there have a safe trip!

Hey Jonie! I probably will not be at the M&G Thursday since we are leaving Wednesday afternoon to make the drive from Texas. Will you be at the M&G Friday or can I get with you at PIR? I definitely want my shirt. Still waiting on a phone call! Thanks

This laptop is making me very sleepy-only I know when I get to bed I will be wide awake-just like the last few nights. Maybe I will pack some tonight and finish in the morning. Could someone give me a wake-up call if anyone hears from DIV 265?! LOL

NHArmyNavyMom I am waiting to hear from my son in DIV 265 also. Hopefully it will be soon just probably not soon enough for us!

NHArmyNavyMom my son is in DIV 265 and his last letter dated 7/19 said that they had battlestations in 9 days which would mean Tuesday (28th) but I am so confused about how long it takes before you get the call. One mom said her son's division started tonight at 8:00pm and I also read it takes 36 hours to go through do they start another division before that one is finished or do they have to wait until they are through? All I know is that I am praying that I get a call before we leave to drive to IL from TX because if he calls and I don't have a signal on my cell phone I will be a nervous wreck all the way there(more so than I am now waiting to hear). Wow I thought I was handling this all pretty well but this last week is really testing my nerves. Congrats to everyone that has gotten a call so far!

gbwnavymom-that is great that your son helped that recruit with his swimming, praying with him and for him.
I empathize with those with the headaches and insomnia-I am right there with you all.
Does anyone know-if the names change on the guest list, how do you get the message to the recruit to have it changed before PIR and how late can you do this? Thanks,

I got a letter today shorter than any so far. He definitely is ready for BC to be over and ready to see his family. The letter was dated 7/19 and he said that they (DIV 265) have battle stations in 9 days. That is really cutting it close since we are leaving the 30th to make the drive. I will have my home phone forwarded to my cell phone in case the call comes in after we leave. Sounds like a lot of them are still sick. I am praying that each and everyone of them passes battles stations.

Received a letter today-he was sick with the flu last week and so he thought his pictures were just OK because he had a fever. He said the only thing that would keep him for graduating now is the final PFA he has passed all the others, thought-he should be OK. He also said that he lost weight so his dress uniform was a little big now. He said he didn't know what happened, but the food has gone downhill-it is bad now. He said it is not any harder now, just real busy. He did not mention a time for battlestations-DIV 265
