**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Specific information on this policy change will be provided in the coming days and weeks.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your support.

RTC Graduation

**UPDATE 3/07/2022**

Mask Mandate has been lifted but you are still required to be vaccinated.

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

How can we find out when our sailor leaves for A school.  He will be going in Pensacola, Fl.?  Would like to find out how much time we get to spend with him.

Graduation is usually over by 1030. If they are not assigned to Great Lakes, they will fly out on Saturday. Our son had PIR in Sept. He had to be back on base by 2100, clear out and then they were bused to O'Hara at 0300. We met him at the airport, got a gate pass, and visited with him until his flight left at 1000. Hope this helps.

krissi, check your My Page.

Can he wait at the ticket area for you to arrive at the airport or does he have to get his ticket right away and go through security.  If so, how do you get your gate pass from him?

He will do what he is directed to do. If you go to the USO, then you will go with a group to get your gate pass. See PIR Day and Liberty during PIR Weekend.

I left info for you on your My Page.

Proudmomofmybaby, your Sailor will most likely fly out to "A" School the day after PIR, but may fly out on Sunday due to flight availability issues. Plan to leave on Sunday if you are able. See PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend to help you know how to plan your weekend.

Check your My Page.

My sailor will be leaving for Pensacola as well!!! Is the flight schedule completely up in the air or will we receive any notice on his flight schedue?

Wendi, Only your then Sailor will know the itinerary and he will not have that until a day or so before PIR, perhaps not even until the morning of PIR. See PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend to help you know how to plan your weekend.

Check your My Page.

So, if they are staying in GL after PIR, can we see him on Saturday too? Planning on arriving on Thursday, but don't know if we should leave Sat or Sun.

Yes, if your recruit will have "A" School or training in GL, then plan to leave late Sunday or on Monday since your the Sailor will have daytime Liberty each day of the weekend. See PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) to help you know how to plan your weekend.

My son leaves for San Antonio for A school after graduating 9/4. When will we know how much time he has?

sandyk, he will know at PIR when he has to return and will be able to tell you when to meet him at the airport. See PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) to help you know how to plan your weekend.

I left info earlier on your My Page.
