krissi, check your My Page.
Can he wait at the ticket area for you to arrive at the airport or does he have to get his ticket right away and go through security. If so, how do you get your gate pass from him?
He will do what he is directed to do. If you go to the USO, then you will go with a group to get your gate pass. See PIR Day and Liberty during PIR Weekend.
I left info for you on your My Page.
Proudmomofmybaby, your Sailor will most likely fly out to "A" School the day after PIR, but may fly out on Sunday due to flight availability issues. Plan to leave on Sunday if you are able. See PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend to help you know how to plan your weekend.

My sailor will be leaving for Pensacola as well!!! Is the flight schedule completely up in the air or will we receive any notice on his flight schedue?
Wendi, Only your then Sailor will know the itinerary and he will not have that until a day or so before PIR, perhaps not even until the morning of PIR. See PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend to help you know how to plan your weekend.
