I know at Ohare the USO was at Terminal 2.. I assume that at Midway/Milwak.. they'd have to report to the USO also.. I was so nervous we wouldn't find her at Ohare... but amazingly, (thank God) we pulled into Ohare right after the buses from RTC.. I said.. "Those are the buses"!!  And I found her coming off the bus and she told me to meet her by the USO!  :)

We still have awhile before grad, since he doesn't go in until September 6, but I'd still like the number for Sarge...have heard he is great.  I like to plan in advance:)

PIR was awesome 5/6!! :)
Somethings I'll pass along...

Having a shuttle to PIR was sooooo nice.. drops you right at the gate. 12 div. were graduating so the line into grad. was looooooong.  We got right in line and were one of the first to get in. We had 9 people with us, so getting there and finding seats for all of us, was very nice.  They had to open up the end bleachers to fit everyone. had we gotten there any later, we would have had a hard time finding seats for us all.  If you'd like the number for Sarge, really has alot of info and gives very good rates for shuttle, let me know.

The Holiday Inn Express in Waukegan was VERY NICE!!  Also not as crowded as some of the other hotels, so the pool and other things we kinda had to ourselves. Not sure why more don't stay there, it is a new hotel and the beds were amazing. They give you a navy grad. discounted rate. Super helpful for directions and there is a plaza near there with several restaurants and Walmart and such. VERY nice and about 15 min. to GL.

For those flying out on Sat. the easiest place to meet up with them at the airport is the USO, they have to sign in there when they get to the airport. Our sailor wasn't sure of her flight info (she didn't pay attention to it) and so we were a little nervous we wouldn't find her at O'Hare.  ( ALOT of parents were in the same boat, looking for their sailor)  But, if you arrange to meet them at the USO at a certain time, it will save looking for them and the confusion of being at such a big airport.  We did get passes to go pass security, so have your sailor go up to the agent and ask for a pass.  They were quite accomodating. :)

I guess that's it for me!! :)
