Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

See PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones). I invite you to join that group while you are there and to check out the other pages (found under the pictures of the Members) as well. Also, check the comments on your My Page.

Yes depending on where there A school is patwigton they will be able to hang after PIR on Friday for a short while

Comment by lemonelephant on July 8, 2013 at 11:37am: rja, join the group, PIR 08/23/2013 TG 41 , to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR. Know that Divisions 317 and 318 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 together, so look for others with loved ones in either division. There will later be a discussion within that group for the two divisions.

Comment by Abel/Mom on July 5, 2013 at 11:52am: Hello everyone I just got back last night from my sailor graduation I am a very proud mom I will recommend for those of you getting ready for the trip I recommend sleep inn hotel is a mile from the base clean the workers are very nice and it has breakfast early at 5.30 in the morning also will recommend jc taxy Juan 1-847-980-4537 is very nice and responsible, he will do a round trip to the airport for a reasonable price will take you to base and take you any where you want to go on liberty time with your sailor most important will pick you up at any time you want and believe me time for our new sailors is very important you will see why enjoy you time with the sailors.
