Heading back down there next week for a vacation, popping by the base to hug my sailor!

Thanks for the prayers.  My airman made it safe and sound from VA to Pt. Mugu by motorcycle without any rain either.  On to a new adventure.

How's everyone doing?

They are getting pounded with rain down there, saw on the news the highway is closed....too much rain at one time...usually they only get 8 inches a year, today is forecast 10 inches, some hours an inch coming down...

momof2sailors sounds like a great trip.  Will look forward to hearing something about it.  There is so little activity on this group.  My sailor is in Norfolk for 3 mo. of school, then heading to Pt. Mugu.  What is a great time to visit Southern Cal,  I from the frigid northeast.
