(sorry folks, its been a long week and today is cold and rainy--hard to get out of the warmth of my covers, amen and thank you blondie!)

"The Lord is my strength and my shield;
   in him my heart trusts;
so I am helped, and my heart exults,
   and with my song I give thanks to him." Ps 28:7

Watch over our loved ones today, Lord, and thank you for your covering presence. Remind us of your promises and your everpresent care. We lift up prayer requests from N4M...Amen

You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
   who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,
will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress;
   my God, in whom I trust.: Ps 91:1-2

This morning we give thanks for prayers answered, for new members to share, for unreps and vertreps and all reps, for good will tours and for good work still being done, for the warming weather and softening spring. Protect our sailors and us from danger as we trust in your promises.

We pray for those having tests, those carrying out difficult assignments and those who are making those assignments happen from desk or computer. We pray for those who wait--to be assigned or to take leave or whatever. We pray for our servicemen and women in the M.E. and in Europe who are busy with much danger and confusion. We pray for Japan and its neighbors in new partnerships of support. We are thankful that our sailors can lead the way in the Operation of Friendship.

Lest we forget, we ask for wisdom in decisions for leaders of our country and of each command. May their decisions be for good and peace in the world, and soften the hearts of leaders in hostile countries who create such chaos and need.

You are God and we put our trust in you, Amen.

Lord, thank You for the protection and blessing You extend to our families and loved ones, and especially our military men and women.  I ask that You add to the list once again and protect our firemen fighting fires this week.  We have such high winds and dry conditions, and the fires are raging along the front range.  Protect our firefighters from harm and guide them, helping them contain and put out the fires.  Thank You for loving us so much.

And Father we pray for calm seas and peaceful hearts as we pray for safety and security.

We again lay before you our requests of previous days and we remember Maggs list of specific requests as sailors take their tests and we pray for Angela's home in TX to have a new owner who will buy, move into and love it as well.

Bless us this day. Amen

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the way You brought Your perfect peace upon me this morning.  It always amazes me the means You use to work Your will.  Thank You for the little boy on Fox News this AM and for the book he wrote "Heaven Is Real".  Lord, You used that to calm my son's heart over his wife's impending labor and the birth of their daughter.  Thank You for speaking to him also and providing him with Your comfort over his grandparents.

Thank You, Father, for protecting our pilots last night and today.  Thank you that they are back in America's hands.  Thank you for the sailors, and marines rescue team who brought them back to the Kearsarge.  Please Lord, protect all our children.  Keep their minds clear so that they can do they duty well.  Help us to not be a worry to them, help us to support them in any way we can.  Lord, most of us are given the privilege of praying for our military and we thank You for that.  Sometimes we think we can only just pray.  Forgive us for putting a minor value on prayer.  We know that it is a mighty weapon for us who believe.  Help us keep our spiritual armor on and help us to stand firm in our faith.  We thank you, Lord.  In Your Son's name, Amen.
