I think it would be great to have a place to post requests, answers, or just general prayers for Class 281 or any pre-bud family. Everyone is Welcome!

Kathy, if you want to tell your son some things to do about the spiders, see the Pre-buds mom site and look for comments from AZOKMom. She did a lot of research on the little buggers and what to do if you do get bitten. It was quite a discussion that went on for a while. (if you didn't see it at the time).

If I remember...protein drinks & protein powder are not allowed at either Pre-BUD/s or BUD/s. They can have protein bars, but NOT drinks

Kim, I have been doing the same thing, weighing the cost of mailing a better deal from here against him geting it there. (I also got a box of Snickers for $.46 ea. at Costco and the Kirkland brand of Trail mix. I'm sending him some baggies to make his own packets.

My son said they are still there, but it isn't a big thing. He knows I worry too.

MstrChief, what room in your son in so I can spread the word?? ROFL (just me being silly) I'm sure she will be his favorite person when that box comes!

If anyone has access to Costco they have protein bars w/35 grams of protein 24 to a box, 3 types in a box, less than a 1$ a bar. Can't remember the brand name right now.

Kathy, I believe that they will die out as soon as it gets cold there, which should be pretty soon. They have heat in their buildings but I'm sure it's off most of the time. Also, the good news is that we havn't heard of anyone having any lasting effects if they were bitten. They do need to have a bite looked at though and not "suck it up" like these guys do.

Work...it stinks. I have mandatory 3 unpaid days a month and in the second round of layoffs, but...at least no pink slip! I hope things calm down for you soon.
