Someone became a Shellback this week on his first deployment they crossed the equator! Not sure of all the details yet but Nick's group won the talent contest that was part of the festivities. We have gotten three phone calls from him this week from the middle of...

So proud...
While underway we honor the hardest working junior Sailor each week with the Sea Warrior of the Week award. One lucky Sailor gets 2-day special liberty, a nights stay in the CO’s at sea cabin, a Sea Warrior of the Week pin, head of line privileges for one week, pick of the movie for Saturday night and the coveted $10 MWR bucks.

Yes, Nick earned a nice award.

TWO years ago today girls! We were sitting there waiting for those doors to roll open!! So many changes in such a short time! Nick is stationed in Hawaii now and is aggressively putting together his package for the Seaman to Admiral prograrm. He still has not done a deployment but...that will be changing soon too!

Linda dear..............I believe this room is "OURs" but I will always keep it active. Hugs!
