Sheila!!! You just need to come around more often!!!

Here's what I know about a few of our 4.25 guys.
Linda's Justin is in California for three weeks for his annual duty/training.
Trish tells me her son has gotten married and is expecting his first baby soon. He is in the reserve program like Justin.
My Nick is in Hawaii and his ship went out just for a few days and he didn't get seasick :-)
Couple of other 4.25 moms that I stay in touch with but they were not in division 161:
Melissa from Tucson, mom of Matt he was in our brother division. He is on the USS Ramage as a Sonar Tech and his ship is actually on it's way to Scotland for a really cool exercise with other Navies.
Kimberly Rad, Bryan's mom - Bryan is a plankowner on the USS Makin Island that will be commissioned in October in San Diego. Bryan is an OS
Angie - from Nebraska now has TWO Navy sons, one just graduated from boot camp so she had both sons there in uniform - check out the 4.25 group for photo.

I'm sure I'm overlooking someone but do try to stay in touch!

Kim and Lisa that were part of this group originally are not Navy moms as both of their sons left during boot camp. The other five or six moms are MIA ---- never heard from them after boot camp, not even sure if they were at the PIR. I did send each of them an email to no avail.

Look girls! traded message with Tricia, her son was in our division. I did not remember that Michael was a Seabee Reservist in Michigan - Tricia does not remember his rate but knows he does something with those BIG Tonka Toys!! LOL

Here's some of her email (and she is going to post photos soon)
We are all doing great! Michael just got home from VA last week and is off to Battle Creek this weekend for drill. He is reserves, which means this mom is lucky to have him near! He got married last Oct. 4th and not only was he in uniform, but his guys were too, yes a very proud day to say the least. He is currently waiting on the birth of his son (due Nov 1). I no longer have internet nor a computer at home. So work is the only place (which i shouldnt) where I can play on the internet. Glad to hear you and Nick are doing well. I will try to at very least update some photos on here.
Take care
Tricia

Nick took his E5 test today! He doesn't expect he will pass but is hoping to earn some points for his next test in March.

Oh Thank you Linda - it is SO nice having him home. Truly!!! We are off to Hilton Head Island on Saturday for a week - he's bringing girlfriend. It's Ashleigh's last week before school starts so we will have them both there.!

Graduation today!
School is finally over for this sailor - home tonight.

He's thinking about doing RAP for five days to save some of his leave time but it doesn't really matter once he reports to Hawaii he will be there for a long time and have a chance to build his leave up again.

How's Nick and Justin doing?
