Is the steak loft still there? There is seafood place called "ten clams" that we went to last time we were in Mystic, that was good.
West Valley Inn is great!! we used to live right in front of it, on the main street (518 Providence St.) They had a "Bocce court" in our backyard, where teams played!!! And, that is where Melissa's wedding reception was held (where else would Italians go??)
Parking for the 4th is okay, as long as you are here before the parade starts, and you don't want to leave immediately after!!!!
Anthony is now thinking about going to the Newport parade, he heard it is better than West Warwick!
I have never been to fleet week! It must be awesome!!

Hi all,
Kimmy is doing much, much better. Thanks, she is almost back to her happy self!
I certainly agree, Marianne, bi-coastal sounds great right about now! I know what you mean about the girlfriend situation, Marc's "girlfriend" really broke his heart while he has been deployed! And, we haven't heard from him in over 2 weeks! I am hoping that means he is on the move, back to the states!
I am not a parade person, but Kimmy and Anthony usually go to the West Warwick, R.I. parade. The only parade I like is our "snug harbor 4th of July parade", hope you have all marked July 4th on your calendars for our 4th of July/Kimmy's b-day celebration!
Of course we need to get together before that!

Great news Trish, no surgery! Kim's viral infection is better, but yesterday she had a seizure, she does have a seizure disorder, but it had been a long time, she has been well controlled with meds., she is doing fine today, just having a tough couple of weeks!
Glad your visit w/ Gilbert went well!
Marianne, enjpy the California sun, I repeat bring back some of that warmth!!!
