Love that, Paymaster!  Wishing the same for you.

Here's our Navy baby and mom - how fun that virtual baby shower was this year!   I'm so grateful for the opportunity to get to know so many wonderful people here.  Happy Holidays!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS !

Today...I wish you a day of ordinary miracles-

A fresh pot of coffee you didn't have to make yourself.

An unexpected phone call from an old friend.

Green stoplights on your way to work or shop.

I wish you a day of little things to rejoice in...

The fastest line at the grocery store.

A good sing along song on the radio.

Your keys right where you look.

I wish you a day of happiness and perfection-little
bite-size pieces of perfection that give you the funny feeling that the Lord is
smiling on you, holding you so gently because you are someone special
 and rare.

I wish You a day of Peace, Happiness and Joy.

They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour
to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to
 forget them.

Loretta's Quilt

Quilt made from scrapes from our pillowcas project that went to the Wound Warriors program. I made this quilt with my 8 year old and 4 year old granddaughters. They did the majority of the sewing and pinning. I mainly did the finish work. We took outlines of their hand prints and I sewed them on the quilt. If you go to me page you can see the handprints that I traced on top of the quilt and oversewed on.

Checking in for the center of the country for the Navy rest stop route. Our rest stop is in the St. Louis MO area (Fairview Heights, IL) near ALL major highways (64/40, 55/70, 255/270). A great " half way across the country" stopping place so mommas don't have to worry about tired drivers!  A few hours or overnight, quick snack or a home cooked meal. Day or night.

Yes - Open here in Denver (Highlands Ranch, CO) and not too far from I-25 north and south.  Message me and we will have something warm to eat and a pillow for their heads!  We can always make more room for our sailors!
