To be added to the list send me (Susan mom to Niko) a friend request. Then you can send me a private message with your name, location and phone number. Then you are added to the list!

Same here!!  I'm in NC, on the Outer Banks.  I'm about 2 hours from the bases in Norfolk and Dam Neck.  I've already adopted one, the more the marrier.  Have the room and as long as they don't mind a dog, hit and miss cat, and always kids (over 18 crowd) my house is open.  have one that uses it to run away every once in a while.

Carolyn ditto but in NJ. My light is always on. Day or night. Home cooked meals, warm bed, and more. Good point they can stop for a rest and refuel or stay for the holiday. Friends and families welcomed. I'm in centeral Jersey. Middlesex county. So spread the word. They can play connect the dots with all the safe and warm houses we have spread through out the US

Blankets and burp clothes

This is what I have been doing in my spare time. This has been my personal christmas project. I was able to make and donation 35 revieving blankets and 42 burp clothes to the local women's shelter that helps young mothers with children. Hope I am able to do as many and perhaps a few more next year.

Hi mamas, I shared your comments with Misty and here's her response!

"Let them know I think of them too! It was hard to become pregnant and then have Aaron leave for a deployment, I never planned it that way. It was our only baby together, and my last. But knowing so many were thinking about us, and getting suprises in the mail made every day a little easier. Tell them all I said thank you!!  Misty"
